Conference on Green Mobility at Folkecenter

By Daniele Pagani

After the success of the Community Power and Renewable Energy Storage conference (check the presentations here) and the positive feedback from the audience, Nordic Folkecenter is organizing a new event with focus on green mobility.

The conference, which title is: "Green Mobility: The Future of Transportation in Denmark and in the EU" will last three days (28-30 April 2017) and will focus every day on a different technology: biofuels (28 April), hydrogen & fuel cells (29 April) and electric vehicles and hybrids (30 April).

The event will gather Danish and international academic and industrial experts, who will join politicians and car manufactures to discuss about the possible solution for a green transition in the transportation world.

Like the previous conference, also this event will take place in SkibstedFjord, an example of innovative underground architecture present at Folkecenter.

On the side of the main event, there will be also other activities, like a showcase of vintage vehicles and an open house (17.00-19.00) for all those interested in trying the different types of green vehicles that will be available during the conference. Additionally, on May 1st there will be the chance of attending a guided tour to visit energy facilities in the surroundings of Folkecenter.

The programme, still subject to change, can be found here.
